Karin Verspoor is a Professor in the School of Computing and Information Systems at the University of Melbourne, with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Natural Language Processing (text mining, text analytics) and a particular focus on applications in Health and Biomedicine.

She is also a member of Homeward Bound #TeamHB2019 and is extremely excited to be on a personal science and technology leadership journey, culminating in a voyage to Antarctica!
