Louise has two obsessions. The first is improving health outcomes through digital health. The second is mentoring and supporting young leaders to recognise their potential and achieve their professional goals.

She is the CEO of HISA: Australia’s digital health community. Her speciality speaking topics are all things to do with digital health, digital disruption of the healthcare sector and the future of healthcare. Louise has spoken at around 100 conferences and events, from academic events to internal events for the Commonwealth Bank and an international pharmaceutical company. She loves the energy she gets back from an audience and is a proud evangelist for the transformation of healthcare to improve health outcomes.

An innovator and a change agent who doesn’t sit still and whose passion and enthusiasm for health informatics is shaping a new future for HISA. Her appointment as CEO came on the back of 10 years of experience in, and applied passion for, digital health. With a background as an occupational therapist, Louise has a PhD in technology acceptance among health professionals, is a graduate of Stanford’s Executive Leadership Program, a Certified Health Informatician and a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow.
