Membership and Benefits

Membership is open to all and is offered on an annual basis.  Membership is offered in six categories: individual; student; unemployed; micro business; SME business and Corporate.

Member Benefits

All members receive:

  • Opportunity for personal and professional networking, connecting and engagement with other women in ICT
  • Workshop, event and seminar participation at member prices
  • Access to member only events
  • Access to Australian Computer Society and Project Management Institute - Melbourne Chapter events at their member prices
  • Access to the Vic ICT for Women Mentoring Program
  • Career and business development opportunities
  • Opportunity to volunteer for one of our working group teams
  • Opportunity to speak at Vic ICT for Women events
  • Access to Vic ICT for Women Network resources
  • Opportunity to enhance your knowledge of industry developments and skills requirements
  • Regular member communications

Micro business (< 35 employees) and SME  business ( < 200 employees) benefits allow for two and three employee memberships respectively per membership bought.

Corporate, Government and Tertiary Institution Benefits allow for ten employee memberships per membership bought.

Business membership receives the following additional benefits:

  • Recognition on the Vic ICT for Women website via logo displayed and link to required business web page
  • Helps your organisation develop a more confident & empowered female IT workforce through positive support, via the professional mentoring program and networking opportunities, plus access to development programs that will increase and enhance their IT and business skills e.g. hearing from IT experts at events.
  • Provides your organisation the opportunity for additional corporate visibility & contribution via speaking engagements or sponsorship opportunities e.g. sponsorship of events - Annual Dinner; Go Girl Go for IT; Workshops etc.
  • Increases internal credibility in promoting female affirmative action via in-house promotion of your membership
  • Increases external visibility of your diversity management practices through recognition on our web site
  • Increases Corporate Citizenship by contributing to the long-term growth of women in IT from secondary school level & beyond.
