November
Vic ICT for Women hosted its inaugural breakfast event: 'Slowing Down' to achieve work/life balance on Friday 11 November.
'Go Girl Go for I.T.' is a free event focussed on redressing the gender imbalance in the IT industry by using role models to illustrate the wide variety of IT related careers available to young women.
Feel like you're in constant overdrive, unable to slow down? Like 'greed was good' in the 80s, today's mantra is 'busier is better' as we try to squeeze as much as we can into our over-worked lives. Our inaugural breakfast event, 'Slowing Down', focuses on achieving a work/life balance.
The website will be the primary 'hub' to update members on key developments, programs and events, as well as provide a broad industry resource for women in ICT.
