Leading the Way - Women in ICT and eCommerce Luncheon
Vic ICT for Women partnered with the eCommerce Association of Central Victoria to present a regional networking luncheon 'Leading the Way - Women in ICT and eCommerce' , on 17th May 2006.
Held at the Visual Arts Centre in the centre of Bendigo the event attracted 39 guests including representatives of Central Victorian businesses, individuals, ICT students and academics.
Speakers Sonia Greguol, Bendigo Bank Chief Manager, Business IT Strategy, and Rhonda O'Donnell, Chair Novell Asia Pacific and Chair Vic ICT for Women, presented on 'What can be accomplished with a comprehensive ICT strategy' and 'Balancing country-city and family-work in a high-tech, high-pressure world'.
We look forward to partnering with the eCommerce Association of Central Victoria to deliver an annual Bendigo based networking event. Based on the success of this event other regional partnerships are now being pursued and for two more regional events are planned for 2006.
