THE CLICK LIST

MEET THE CLICK LIST

The Click List gives you immediate access to qualified, skilled, dynamic, engaging and interesting tech speakers and MC’s.

The Click List is here for your conference, event, thinktank, hackathon, networking session, panel and wherever else you need awesome STEAM experts. We focus on female voices because, well, we’re top of our fields and can sometimes be hard to find.

Got an agenda? We’re very likely to have a speaker. Got a panel? Don’t be the ‘all white middle aged man’ panel debating diversity. You can do better than that.

There’s no excuse. Use The Click List and diversify your events, opinions, voices and deliver. It’s easy to find the perfect speaker via The Click List: just hit the link below or the drop-down.

And we’re always looking for quality additions to The Click List, so you can use the form to nominate an awesome STEAM specialist using the form below. And because we believe in blowing our own trumpets, you can self-nominate.

  • WHY THE CLICK LIST?

Diversity is good for business. The Click List is a freely available list of female tech, career & diversity speakers that aims to raise the visibility of female speakers in the STEAM sectors and create greater diversity of views at major events in our industry.

  • WHO SHOULD USE IT?

The Click List is aimed at conference organisers, industry organisations, journalists and bloggers and will highlight the experience and expertise of women who are available to speak – on a broad range of topics – at industry events, conferences, and comment on trade media articles.

  • WHAT DOES IT COST?

Nothing. It’s free for our speakers, it’s free to nominate, and it’s free to access and use. We are not acting as a speakers’ bureau or handling fees – speakers will do that directly with the organisations who engage them. We don’t take commissions, either. This is a free resource designed to create more diversity in speakers at tech events.

The Click List is officially launching in Februrary 2018

Vic ICT for Women has sourced dozens of expert, female, diverse tech speakers from a wide range of disciplines, and will be announcing the full starting line-up at our launch.

We also have a wonderful list of nominees that we are in the process of speaking to and adding to the list, with more to come. We intend for The Click list to be a continually growing resource.

Vic ICT for Women knows that there are many, many more expert speakers among our member and sponsor networks that we are yet to reach out to, and you’re officially invited to nominate (and self-nominate).

HOW IT WORKS

Simply use the nomination form to get the nomination process started. Before you start, it’s important to know that The Click List is NOT a speakers bureau or booking platform, not do we take a fee. Put simply, it’s a publicly available resource to make it easier to find female tech speakers, panellists, experts, MC’s and facilitators.

ALL nominations are vetted by the program leader, who is a Vic ICT for Women Board Member, before proceeding, so you know the focus is on quality speakers.

Speakers are added to The Click List via:

  • Nomination;
  • Self-nomination; and
  • Board nominations

The form on this page is the starting point! Once filled out, the nomination will be reviewed by the Program Lead, then the proposed speaker will be contacted.

This point of contact allows full vetting, sharing of T&C’s and expectations, and the full agreement and participation of all parties.

Let’s roll!
