Megan Smith is a telecommunications professional with more than 18 years of experience acquired with Optus and NBN. She’s a Senior Technical Specialist at NBN Australia specialising in passive fibre optic telecommunication networks and associated access technologies.

Megan also is a passionate advocate and leader to her community.  She serves as a board director of the Victorian Pride Centre, Chair of the ANZPATH Community Advisory Committee and broadcaster at JOY94.9 in Melbourne.  She is also Chair of the LGBTIQ network at NBN Australia, Pride@nbn.

Outside of her community activities she’s a parent to three boys, has a flair for photography, and is planning on returning to University studies.
